“..he finds room to shove Pardee’s head to the mat. Then he steps over and finds a locked in Kimura grip”
Right from the start, Davis finds an inside grip on Pardee’s left collar and fishes for an underhook.
Pardee anticipates a single leg from Davis and decides to pull guard to half guard, keeping Davis at bay.
Davis still has the underhook and uses his free hand to fake a choke attack on Pardee’s exposed neck. In doing so, he finds room to shove Pardee’s head to the mat. Then he steps over and finds a locked in Kimura grip on Pardee’s left arm.
Pardee does his best to grip his own gi, but Davis easily pulls his hand away to finish Pardee with a beautiful Kimura.
Dylan Davis def. Andrew Pardee via Kimura with 5:40 left in the round.
