“Parsons quickly bridges to his shoulder and twists around like a caiman alligator while pushing Cole away with his legs to help him square back up.”
Both me lower their base into a wrestling stance, and the match is on its way. Cole palms Parsons’ head and throws some faints to see how he will react before finding his opening to snatch up a single leg.
Cole leg-drags to attempt to pressure in and pass, but Parsons quickly bridges to his shoulder and twists around like a caiman alligator while pushing Cole away with his legs to help him square back up.
Cole still comes in hard looking to pass, but Parsons has a plan and pulls Cole into his half guard. From there he gets his hip under Cole, which helps him shrimp out and get to his knees to the dog fight position. Stand up from there.
Both athletes make their way back to the center of mat before Cole shoots in again for a takedown. This time, Parsons is ready with a counter and sets a beautiful arm-in guillotine.
Parsons’ arm-in guillotine is as tight as a caiman’s locked jaws, and Cole has no option but to tap.
Chase Parsons def. Stuart Cole by arm-in guillotine at 4:12 left in the round.
